Use your Blackberry as a flash drive
Fed up with carrying a usb stick and a Blackberry around with you?
With Mass memory mode active, you have the ability to turn your Blackberry into a usb stick
By the following the instructions below you can use your Blackberry to store documents and media around with you.
It is also quicker to use the Mass Memory for storing music to play on your phone.
To enable mass storage mode complete the following steps:
1. Connect your BlackBerry smartphone to your computer.
2. From the Home screen of the smartphone, click
Options> Device> Storage> Media Card Support - Device Software 6.0
Options > Media Card or Memory – Device Software 4.5 to 5.0
Options > Advanced Options > Media Card – Device Software 4.3 and older
3. Press the Menu key and change Mass Storage Mode Support to On.
4. To enable Mass Storage Mode automatically every time you connect, scroll down to Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode when connected and change it to Yes.
5. Press the Menu key and click Save.
6. Enter your smartphone password and click Enter (if prompted).
